Akcja filmu W strefie wojny toczy się w przyszłości, w której pilot dronów, Harp (Damson Idris), zostaje wysłany do śmiertelnie niebezpiecznej strefy zmilitaryzowanej. Tam wraz ze swoim przełożonym-androidem, Leo, stara się ustalić lokalizację broni masowej zagłady, zanim wpadnie ona w ręce powstańców.

By the end of the movie, nothing makes any sense. Super smart robot. Super strong, fast, and probably has x-ray technology... Eavesdropping on sounds, conversations, and other gadgets that current phones have, you can imagine what they’d put in a super secret android... And at the end of the movie it sees all the Russians, but forgets to switch cars because it wouldn’t guess it’s being tracked or the machine’s intelligence doesn’t realize that a soldier could remember the license plate or that a drone could track him... What nonsense... And in the end it forgets to incapacitate or kill a dumb American soldier and lets itself get shot 3 times in the leg, and suddenly the super soldier reacts like a regular human... And in the end the patriotic little soldier saves the USA from a nuclear bomb because he’s fighting for peace, while every day Americans and their government kill tens of thousands of people, and since the founding of the USA there’ve been roughly 218 wars, with the USA starting or participating in almost 200 conflicts...
